3.5 контрольная почва (control soil): Незагрязненный субстрат, используемый в качестве контроля и как среда при приготовлении серии разбавлений с исследуемыми почвами или химическими веществами для выращивания здоровых растений.
Примечание - Можно использовать искусственно приготовленные или природные контрольные почвы, если в них предполагается свободный рост тест-растений. Различия в содержании питательных веществ в исследуемой и контрольной почвах могут влиять на зависимость «доза-ответная реакция». Например, использование контрольной почвы с более высоким содержанием питательных веществ может привести к ложноположительному результату (т. е. исследуемая почва проявит «токсическое» воздействие на рост тест-растений). Если контрольная почва содержит меньше питательных веществ, возможно появление гормезиса (см. 3.9) при малых соотношениях компонентов в смеси либо даже обратная зависимость «доза-ответная реакция», если преобладает влияние питательных веществ. В настоящем стандарте не приводятся численные показатели для содержания питательных веществ.

Practices used during construction or other land disturbing activities to reduce or prevent soil erosion.
